As my girlfriend and I look into the future, we envision starting a family. Thus, on Wednesday, I traded my unforgettable MC in for a 5-door Impreza RS.

I washed my MC every single week over the past 2.25 years and it was extremely good to me as well ( http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/30092/70696.jpg ). I will never forget it...

Hey erik808, convertibles have a sunroof option? (Edit : Hey you changed it. )

I helped Erik remove it on Wednesday and know the rollbar is a beautifully made Autopower SCCA approved 4 point w/removable cross bar (harness type). This bar is a must if you ever want to try LCCT (Solo1) or eventually run the long course during Super Lap.

The price is awesome as it is, however, erik808 is totally eating the shipping cost! Just imagine getting that bulky buggah here!

What do you think it would cost to ship it to california? If we can get reasonable shipping I think we can strike a deal. Is the bar painted ? How many trim parts do you have to cut to install it? How much does it weigh, and can you still use the back seat? ( even though I rarely ever use it )

 

erik808 is at the track right now videotaping some auto-x stuff (just saw him there) so I'll answer some of the questions as best as I can (the bar's still at my house as we removed it here).

- Bar is black - not painted, bought in that color.
- Two trim pieces (one left, one right) were cut to install the bar.
- Back seat is 100% useable (although getting in and out is a tighter).
- It's an Autopower bar so maybe they have weight info on their site. It breaks down to four pieces total.
- I'll let erik808 decide if he wants to pack and ship to Cali or not. If he does, we'll weigh the pieces.

 

Very cool, do you have a part # so I can look at it on their site? I am very interested if shipping isd possible. If not I understand.

I don't see a part number on it but it's the four point SCCA approved model with optional diagonal cross bar.

Based on the photos, it's the RACE one. It has the removable cross bar with harness bar.

Please note that it will ONLY fit non-sunroof models.
