Nice 2003 CR/W MCS for sale.

I just got a call from an MCS owner that has a really nicely kept MINI for sale due to needing a larger 4 door car for business reasons.

Bought in late Nov. 2003 it has about 6000 miles on it
CR/W MCS with-
Black leather seats
Harmon Kardon
Sunroof
Xenon/Fog lights
OEM alarm
White bonnet stripes
Rubber floor mats

Added performance mods-
Alta intake with hose (red)
17% reduction Supercharger pulley with smaller belt
Borla Street Cat-back exhaust
Helix Short shifter
H-sport springs and H-sport rear swaybar
H-sport rear adjustable control arms
Rota 17x7 wheels with stock runflat tires

Added appearance mods-
Euro parcel shelf
Black aero front bumper and bonnet grilles
Carbon fiber hood scoop
Altezza tail lights
Glove box organizer

Price negotiable asking $23,500 OBO Excellent condition, no accidents.
Never taken to the track or autocrossed.
Bought new with purchase price over $26,000 added over $3500 in mods.

No known mechanical problems ever, never been to the service dept.

Keikilee, he's your big chance! Let me know if interested.

The owner could always trade the car in for a BMW. Of course, trade in value may only be $20k or less. It may actually be less because the mods on the car void the warranty. Yes, I know that is off the scale of having the highest resale value, but I was only offered $15.75k for my trade in of a 9 month old MCS with 8000k miles.

If he sells his MCS he might be looking for a used M5 or similar 4 door sedan and he is partial to BMWs. Got any good sources? Let me know and I will pass it along but first he has to sell.

( I did some editing with more info on my original post).

wow! loaded with nearly everything possbile. and only 6k miles.

i imagine this is one of the owners from the time eric came down.

business reasons?

i think if i were in the same position...i'd sell my p/u and get a 4 door p/u. and save my mini for myself and a lucky passenger.

or maybe a rx-8. i tried sitting in the back of one at the auto show with ample leg room up front and believe it or not, i found it incredibly roomy despite its cramped looks.

This MCS sounds like anotherminiman's friend. As for an M5, they are getting harder to find. His best bet would be picking one up on the mainland. An attorney friend of mine just picked up a nice Dinan M5 for a steal on the mainland. Pretty much paid for a regular M5 and got the Dinan stuff for free. I just hope BMW of Honolulu doesn't mess up this car as they already squashed his partner's BMW when it was in for service.

What he SHOULD get is a E34 M5 Touring! There was one for sale on the mainland and I wanted it! They just wanted too much for the car. If I did get it I would have no need for Barney and would get rid of him as I ran out of parking space.

if all else fails, tell him to take it to Auto Source and sell it on consignment. if they don't have any MINIs on hand, they'll more than likely take it. might not get what he wants for it...but that's part of selling a used car, right?
