Shipping of UCC exhaust to Honolulu will cost around $200, anybody knows of a cheaper way?

What method is your vendor using? I just sent a tranny to Seattle for $120 via UPS 2nd day air. You may also save money if you have a UPS or FedEx account as you can have the shipping charged to it. Many times there is some added cost to shipping that we don't hear about.

I got the quote from UUC directly (UPS 2day).

If you don't mind waiting, I am talking to Midas of Hawaii to consider carrying the UUC exhaust for the MCS.
I supplied the owners with info on the exhaust and a review from RandyBMC on MCO. Let them bring it in by bulk and save on shipping via quantity and at business rates plus they can buy it at wholesale.

If you are interested then let me know and I can put you in touch with them so they know MINI owners are interested in Hawaii. I told them there is a market for them. They do the install but I guess if you want to install it then maybe they can have an installed and non installed price.

The wife of one of the owners drives a yellow MCS with the midas oval on the door and R90 wheels. That was the proposed test car for the first UUC. It won't be the first UUC in Hawaii since PC is getting one installed this weekend!!! Let me hear it! Wow- Loud!!!!

Eric the UUC is an exhaust of choice for the MCS only. Price starts at $875 and that is the introductory discount price plus as above another $200 shipping!!!!

>>MCS only?? Sob

Maybe I can get Midas Hawaii to import MC exhausts? Working on it as we speak. I'll be lobbying at the Midas event this saturday. There is a purpose to my madness (not referring to my intake or my rear swaybar of the same name)

Thanks minihune. I am interested! Right now, my 1st choice is UUC, but the cost + shipping hurts! If I get a chance, I would like to hear the exhaust gears that you guys have on. Perhaps this Sunday will be a good time. BTW, I actually called a Midas store some time ago to see if they can bring something in. It was for the Magnaflow but their answer was No. It was a good thing though because I am sort of shying away from Magnaflow since it might be too loud for me.
