Just curious -
What is the wait on a Cooper or S out there? It's running about 3-5 months for a Cooper and almost a year for an S here on the East Coast. By the way, my Dad is retired Navy now - but we used to be stationed in Hawaii. His office was at Camp Smith. Beautiful countryside out there - a little piece of heaven always...........
I drove mine off the lot the day I found the dealer! If you're looking to buy a floor model, I think you can walk in and purchase one. If you want one special ordered, I think the wait is the same as everywhere else.

Here's an update:
Results vary from month to month.
There are a few Coopers and MCS for sale all the time but color and option selection will vary. Best to call Mini of Hawaii and ask for what they have. If you order a new mini then wait times can be as long as about 5 months for the MCS and a little shorter for the cooper.
If you buy one that is in stock you usually have to pay MSRP plus at least a $400 appearance package charge for rubber floor mats, rear boot mat and wheel locks. Otherwise not much negotiating on anything. Hawaii state tax is 4.167%.
We do sell a lot of Minis here so keep us in mind.

Jeebus! a YEAR? Two YEARS?!
I was in Milwaukee today and they had several to choose from. For the price of a plane ticket you can save the thousands you're paying over MSRP...
Shop around! Even if you have to go between a couple of cities. There are 4 Mini dealers in the Chicago/Milwaukee area. Give them a call.
