This week MINI of HI is sponsoring a

scary mini dress up event from thursday to saturday-

decorate your MINI make it scary and go to the dealership to get a picture taken to enter a contest for $200 gift certificate

And on Nov 8 there is the annual MINI Aloha Tower car show- sign up with Robert or Mary from MINI of HI. Food drive and toy drive- please bring donations that day. Free to enter car show. Maybe a drive after the show at midday

 

Aloha Tower event was good about 30 MINIs to show.

Then Dec 6 tentative Brunch at Haleiwa Joe's in Haiku Gardens about 12 noon need to RSVP with Mary.

It is same day as posted Rally cross at KRP

So a no go for me.

 

I'm going to come over for coffee, but probably will skip the drive around.

 

Or you can meet for coffee and rally on over to KRP to check out the Rallycross in action that day. By the time you get there we should be driving on the course.

We had some good weather for a drive out to Waianae Comp Health Center.

2 classic minis and 33 MINIs in our group.

what happens exactly on these Coffee gatherings? I would try to attend and see for myself but will be traveling off island for work this weekend..

 

Coffee /tea etc. Talking. Minis and MINIS. A bunch 'a folks hangin out and chatting about all kinds of stuff, cars included!

I heard from Motortrend that they are waiting to hear from HMMC about participating in the March 18-20 First Hawaiian Auto Show.

Don't you need ten committed MINIs to show up and volunteers to be present at every shift for three days during the show hours?

 

I'll volunteer mine if it is worthy of being there.
