Thanks for the comments. Posters came from MINI. The bottom one (hard to see) is for the R50 (Cooper) JCW body kit. Have a few others not shown.

@Stu - GP0411 is going to a good friend, and will remain nearby. Will still see it often.

Congrats I think I might have talked you into it haha, I really like the way the car seems to change color. I have 4,000 miles on mine and it is a blast to drive. It really likes the Dragon.

I have seen some people outside of the USA who have even had the numbers sourced to stick on the car.

Sorry for the late reply, but my idea for the nav was to have it map the track you are racing during the warm up lap and then keep lap times and other useful info about your braking and cornering. Not just a regular nav.

Btw, thanks everyone for the compliments on my mockups. I appreciate the feedback.

Tire Information

For those of you who might be thinking of swapping out your GP OEM Kumho's with a tire that combines "ultra high performance" (W & Y speed rated) AND a great handling all season, all weather tire you might be interested in the latest offering from Michelin.

Pilot Sport A/S 3, Ultra-High Performance Sport. They come in the Mini requisite "alternate" 205/45ZR 17 size, so it has virtually the same aspect ratio (i.e, >by 6.25mm / .25in).

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3

I'm replacing the Kumho's tomorrow with the Michelin. I will be selling my Kumho's Ecsta V700 Sports (215/40R 17).
PM me if you are interested and live in/around Maryland.

...

Car wasn't ready today but I will gladly post pictures next week when I pick up the car from the dealership. I'm also having them install the 2nd upper glove box (which, for some reason was deleted in all the GP's).

Pictures of the 2nd glove box mod. Dealership did a great job. Still waiting for MiniUSA to release the
GP badge that goes on the door/trim piece. Hopefully it will be in later this week!

Pictures of the Michelin's -- clearance was not a problem (aspect ratio was about 6mm larger than Kumho's). First impressions are very positive. Just got back from the dealership - ride was very comfortable, much less road noise than the Kumho's and far more compliant. Will provide update if anyone is interested after the tire break-in period. Looking forward to testing them in the wet, under hard braking and "spirited" cornering.

Did you have to pay extra for the extra glove box?

Just curious why you didn't get the tires in 215/45/17? With your wheels at 7.5 inches wide, putting 205 tires on there effectively made your wheel stick out more and hence more prone to damages, right?
