AutoXing the GP - Suggestions, tips...

Next month the AutoX season begings and I want to take GyPsy and see how well WE can do.

Any suggestions on the type of tires/ wheels? I don't want use my Stock GP wheels

I have a 17" Flick Wasp (from my MCSC) may I use them? What's the deal w/ the lugs? and tires..

How about clearance I am afraid that the car is too low.. Am I just paranoic or should I really be worry.

I should get my clear bra done by then aditional precautions?

Finally in which class am I running now? I need to order numbers ( 142,of course) but don't know my class

Thank you guys.

Well, the class will depend on the mods. I don't know what the stock class for the GP is - perhaps BS? You would have to stick with 18" wheels for stock class, though.

I don't know where the GP would fall in the Street Touring categories, though. It's not eligible for STS, STX, STU or STS2.

In street prepared, I think it's just been announced that the GP will go into DSP, like the current 'S'.

For the wheels, just see if the 14mm lugbolts will fit through the holes in the Wasps. If they do, you're in good shape. If not, you'll have to find different wheels, drill the holes in the Wasps out, or get a 14mm-to-12mm stud conversion kit.
