Driving Lights for GP?

Hi All,

I'm a big fan of the look of the driving lights on the front of the MINI (my last two have had them), and I'm interested in doing the same for my GP. I find it strange that I haven't seen any other GP's with them, is there a reason for that (other than the small amount of extra weight added)?

Cheers,
-Justyn

GPMINI is my first MINI without driving lights - I think they might spoil the look!

Im awaiting the cost back from the dealer on the installation..( and the rear fog ). After the install, Im going to take out the lamps, and put in LED lights that im trying to put togeather.. they will surround the bullet heads that are there...

I say that it depends on your intentions with the GP.

If you're going to baby this car, barely put any miles on it, hold onto it for 20 years, then try to sell it at Barret-Jackson, (in other words, you think of this as a collector car; an investment), then you shouldn't add lights or anything else to it. Keep it as stock and pristine as possible.

If you're going to drive the hell out of it, put on lots of miles, track it, and keep it forever, (in other words, ENJOY IT), then do whatever you want to do to it.

Personally, I hope you choose to ENJOY IT, and do whatever you want to it. It is your car, and one that needs to be driven. Have fun in YOUR GP.
