yes, but previous seasons were aired on Discovery or TLC or Speed, I think. I've watched segments from the web site before, but I'd like to record episodes on my ReplayTV.

 

Discovery had watered down segments of Top Gear, but I don't recall anyone showing Fifth Gear in the US.

I think I remember coming across 5th gear very early on Saturday mornings on the Speed Channel. I don't know if it still is part of their lineup.

 

You're right, Speed used to show Fifth gear, but they have ceased to and no longer even list it on their website. Even when they did air it, the episodes were at least 2 years old.

 

I think Speed was showing it this year at some point...not sure when though.

I have a couple of old episodes saved from the SPEED channel in July, but there's nothing on any of my comcast lineup for the next two weeks.

Remember the episode with the London stock broker who buys the cooper spec and gets private lessons from Tiff? That one is also great because of the hilarious Vauxhall Vectra review.

 

I remember that one too...she ends up doing OK in the hill climb event they practiced for.

if you watch the premier fifth gear episode, vicki harps on the remote control car performance more than the actual mini GP. After watching the episode, it was clear it was all about her driving fun against a remote control car and second to how the actual GP handles and drives.

yes, she can drive a car quite competently however,To be quite honest, i find vicki a bit annoying and a tad full on herself. it may have been cute when she was 16, but not at her age.

It was good to see fifth gear finally upping the ante with the videography. They were really dragging behind top gear. I believe poor richard hammond may be out for a while due to a recent accident.

 

There's a site that carries torrents of Top Gear and Fifth Gear, called finalgear.com. Not sure how up to date it is, but it is chock full of Top Gear and Fifth Gear episodes.

Can usually see it within hours, and I find it morally ok as there is no disclaimer and it is basically public TV, so its just an audiance extension. I'm more a fan of Top Gear myself but Ffth Gear has had some good segments.

 

I am getting the torrant for the Sept 26 (or so) episode of 5th gear...that must be the one with the GP...there was no details on the site. I will watch it and let you all know how it is.
