GP1292 New Owner in PDX

GP1292 Garage shot - Freshened up after her 1200 mile trip!

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to check in and say hi. I've just purchased GP1292 and driven her ~1200 miles in two days from Denver to my home in Portland, Oregon. No issues with the car at all, lots of smiles with those miles! She's a tad low for my driveway, and some of the roads here....So I may increase ride height a bit in future....we'll see ;-)

BTW: If anyone has an OEM JCW airbox for an R53, I'm looking for one to bring the engine bay back to more of a stock look.

Nice car, enjoy. If you zip by me I'll try to wave, but you will probably be going too fast.

Congrats on the new GP. Have fun with the car which it sounds like you already have started to do. The car looks lowered, I can see different wheels, and you mentioned the air box so I suspect many mods already done to the cars. What mods have been done?

Very nice! And found in my home state, Colorado! Besides the ride height and bringing the engine bay back to stock, any plans? Not that it needs it of course. Congratulations BTW!

Regarding modifications, here's the car's current status:

Revolution Mini Works: Big valve head, street camshaft, 450cc injectors, street header, JCW cat back exhaust system.
Way Motorworks: 16% SC pulley
Madness Motorworks: Cold Air Intake (returning this part to the stock JCW airbox soon).
Suspension: Revolution Motorworks specified JRZ double adjustable coilovers with Swift springs, camber/castor plates. H& R rear swaybar. Ride height: Low! Four fingers clearance!
Wheels: Enkei PF01 Black 17" (on the car). Original GP wheels safely stored!
Stock brakes/rotors: Need replacing soon, I'll keep these stock as they seem more than adequate for road use.
