Driving around on a delivery at work(not in GP0468) near scottsdale road and frank lloyd wright. You were going north on scottsdale road towards the Harkins when i noticed a mini with red mirrors then the grille and finally the rear and was amazed to see another gp owner as its the first time. Glad to see I'm not the only one driving one in the area.

Cool, nice to know who it is(or most likely was haha), I'm GP0468. Off beat but do you meet with any other minis or events? Went to that car show at pavilions like 2 weekends ago, ONE mini. Kinda sad.

I also saw a GP heading east on Thomas Rd past just past Scottsdale around 1245 a weekago today. It had a euro plate on the front. I know of one GP with a euro plate here in phx, but it was in their garage that day. I was in another one of our cars that day.

I know 3 GPs here in Phx, Hear there are 3 more. and there is an other one on the way in a couple months.

 

We had 8 at pavs this past saturday. and 2 GPs

 

Only very rarely do I meet up with DMC (the local club).

There usually is a decent group at the Pavillions...but generally they only go on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Since you're close, I'm always down to go driving with ya anytime! Always fun to have another MINI to go cruise the twisties with.

Some Saturday or Sunday in January I'd like to run up to Jerome and Sedona the back way through People's Valley and Prescott. Let me know if any of you guys want to join me.

We too only do the DMC stuff on occasion.. We have a other group of MINI folks that get togeather.. we go to the pavs a couple times a month

you guys are killing me...I am going to have to drive MAKO to death to get 1200+ miles on her before early January...I will be 30 miles back if I have to stick to max 4500 rpm's....I guess it will be a good time to find out if other mini drivers wave as you pass me coming back the other way

Count me in for now, I will confirm as we get closer. I just never know when I will be out of town, but I should be good.

 

Not WOT throttle in the first mile or so but damn near that so far. I've seen many conflicting reports on whether you should baby the engine or not.

 

I won't go WOT right away but I don't know how long I'm gong to last.

 

We were at Pavs Saturday night with Justin.. He was home for a few days... had dinner last last night with him too... He headed back to Italy today..

 

May be interested in the 7th if we are not on a 4x4 run.. Maybe bring both of our MINIs.

 

The 7th may be doable for us as well. Will be time for GP1274 to stretch his legs!
