HHmmm.... I sense a sweet little run coming up!

 

On these runs...having never been on one...Do you bring the better halves, and or kid(s), dog, and pet monkey? Or is it just drivers? Honestly I have NO clue

I dunno about this bunch....but at least in the DMC events theres always the group that likes to drive a little more "spiritedly" and the group that drives slow lol.

I sense we all fall into the more fun of those two categories So plan your passengers accordingly...yelling wives or screaming children are never a good thing

 

+1 to what Thumper said. I think we'll definitely be a spirited bunch. My wife won't be along because she gets motion sickness easy.

 

Ok, ...good to know. Although, I think both of my girls like to go just as fast as I do. My daughter always points out if someone passes me, then promptly yells "catch them!"

 

I see runs develop as they go, everyone settles in as the miles go on. Over my 10 years of motoring, been the full gambit. The main rule for me is, No one left behind. So if someone falls back.. I will stay with them.. For JCW PHX, your car will be fine.. Even if you follow the normal break in, you will just shift sooner. 4500 rpm with get you over 100mph in 6th. you will be fine . I was over 120 in all my MINIs prior to the break in, they were all fine.

My wife will probably take her car, try and catch her.. I dare ya and for that matter, try to keep up with Patty ( IT WORK ) she will make you check your manhood

 

At this rate i am going to have a hard time making it to 100 miles. The short 14 mile ride today was hard enough to keep it under control.
I look forward to the drive, should be fun.

Just saw this thread, didn't know there were that many GP's in AZ! Unfortunately we can't make the 7th drive due to a business trip, nor any Saturday fun runs due to work (unless after 6 pm :/ ). Hopefully we'll make the next one.

bummer. we just moved from CA in March, one of the best things we've ever done.

 

This run is next weekend. We should coordinate the meetup time/place.

 

Yes.. I just got on here to ask the same thing.. Not sure what part of town everyone is in.. but there is a Chevron on Carefree high way just east of I17 that is a good place.. or the Starbucks on at Happy Valley and I17. OR, if some are coming from the west side of town, there is the 2nd Shell station on the east side of road as you come into Wickenburg.
