ACR Stripe?

Ok.... I know our GP's have many differences from most any other Mini ever made, but in a quest to make my #89 a little more different I've been thinking of putting a stripe on her. The stripe I have been considering would be a Viper ACR'esc stripe with the stripe continued on the top of the steering wheel with some custom stitch work. The stripe would be the same red as the mirrors so I believe would flow pretty smoothly.

Let me know what you all think!

I threw on a Chili red shift **** in an effort to add a little more red into the interior.

To be honest, I've seen a few GP's where the owners have tried to individualized the car...and well, they looked like they were just trying too hard. Our cars are unique as it is. I've never even come across another GP owner and I work and live in the SoCal/OC area. Not sure how many are in TN, but I doubt you will run across another owner too frequently.

I totally understand that you can take individualization too far.... I think what I have in mind would be a tasteful addition. I am still pondering it... gonna try to photoshop it on to see if I like it or not. haha

I say go for it. If just vinyl you can always just peel it off. Your steering wheel might be alittle more involved though..

That's what i'm thinking.... For the steering wheel, I may invest in a new one to have the leather stitched. That way if I don't like it I can just put the OEM one back on...

GP Stripes

Here are a couple of pictures I found on GPUK owners forum. While I agree I don't think you should change the look, I have to admit I like the stripes (red/black/white) on the left side of the GP.

I am definitely liking the single stripe on the driver side....After some photoshop work I believe I am going to go with a split stripe that is matte red like the mirrors, which i'm going to matte as well, and on the second stripe I'm going to go with a matte black... so it would be from left to right looking from drivers seat (red/body color/black)

I have played with mine a little with some help from N2MINI. Thanks again Bryan!

I have already debadged the boot for a stripe, just waiting for summer.

HA! awesome! I definitely dig it. I may look into outlining the gp logo in the scoop.
