Finally took posession of GP 1477
To make a long story short, I purchased GP #1477 from a fellow in the Boston area back in December. I had the car shipped to my brother's hourse in Atlanta, Georgia in February. My wife and I flew from Seattle, Wa to Atlanta on April 3rd. Tomorrow we start a true "road trip" back to Seattle. The trip should be roughly 4,000 miles. Keep in mind that this car only had 275 miles on the odo when I bought it.
I took it to the local Mini dealer in Atlanta to have them look at the inoperative aux input jack that appears to have been factory installed in the glove box. During the 20 minutes we were at the dealership, 5 or 6 employees had to take time out to walk around the car. I also noticed flashes going off while several of them took photos of the car. Apparently none of them had seen a brand new 2006 Mini Cooper GP.
It should be a great drive home. I only hope I have a chance to listen to the ipod along the way.

Just being truthfull and hopefully he will be aware, that is a long distance to go in this Wee Car. Hopefully he will be aware of the Speed Limits. I use a Velantine one. so far so good.
