I'm forever amazed at how much money and time people spend ruining things

What a waste though. He should have traded with me first.

With that quick of a overal scan the work looked well done but the lambo doors are over played . If you have a need for a sporty picup why not?

But a GP? yeah i get the 'why not' randy, but a GP? hey, i guess GP owners should be happy, it'll add to the value of theirs

It's entirely possible that they bought a wrecked GP and used the parts. The tailgate is from a convertible....you never know.

I'm also starting to wonder if maybe they sourced some of the body parts from a wrecked GP...or perhaps got the parts from a dealer using an authentic GP VIN.

At any rate, the work itself looks good...but I just can't stand the thought that perhaps this person took a GP and hacked it.

I don't see what's ruined? Where's the horror.. why the vomit and rage?

I thought MINI enthusiasts were all about individuality.. apparently not? Our mini has to look like everyone elses, is that right?

There are thousands and thousands of MINI's out there to hack up. Why pick the one that only had a limited production run of 2000 worldwide? (If it's a real one)

We are, but when you take an auto with an extremely limited run of only 2000 units (i.e. 2006 MINI Cooper S GP) and destroy it, I don't understand it. If it was a wrecked GP, having it professionally restored would have been a better choice in my mind. They could have done this mod with any regular production MINI. Each to their own, but if this was a GP that wasn't wrecked, the owner isn't the sharpest pencil in the drawer.

To each his/her own, but IMHO this ranks in the top 10 worst MINI makeovers.

Doesn't even seem right from a long-term value perspective. Ten years from now, wouldn't you rather be holding on to a showroom quality stock GP? This thing is just a circus sideshow.

His car---His $$$$$ --- now he has a TRUCK !!!

The only Mini Cooper "GP" I have seen was not very pretty. I don't think it was ever washed or takin care of at all. I checked it out on my way in and it had crap all over the floor such as coffee cups, fast food bags etc. Rips in the seats, & It was Filthy inside and out. It was at Lowes in Daytona and when I came back out of the store the guy had 2 by 4's sticking out the passenger window as he pulled out of the parking lot.

At least this Mini Truck is clean and not going to turn into a piece of junk like the one I saw. Plus--- This guy can haul the lumber in the bed of this truck.

I think it is a pretty nice conversion and done well. It's not like this is a butcher job. I personaly like Hot Rod's and custom cars and this one is included. I have actually seen a grown man cry because he sold his totaly stock 34 buick to a guy that chopped it up and made a great street rod out of it.

While I wish he had not used a GP it is a great looking custom job.

Actually kinda cool. Hope it's not a real GP though? How many right hand drive GP's were made? 50/50?

Pretty sure its a real GP. Badging/wheels/body kit/interior looks correct.
