I had a targeted FB add for a stitching cover steering wheel cover. I have an aftermarket wheel in my corvette and it completely enhances the driving experience. So for $60 shipped (after a coupon code) I figured it would be worth a shot. I watched a video on the install and it is pretty straightforward. The material is very nice quality and it is well made

I’ll say it looks great, but it is more of a cosmetic enhancement in lieu of a better feel. Maybe I will get used to the feel and find it to be better than the oem, but it definitely looks substantially better.

 

Wow, you did the stitching? That looks great! In fact, I may have to say that's the best looking diy cover I've seen done. Link to the cover? I'll bet that stitching took a minute...

 

It was surprisingly easy once you get your pattern down. My install isn’t perfect but I think I’m the only one that will see the two imperfections. Just watch the YouTube install videos and it will all be smooth.
