Does anyone still make custom valve cover badges for r53/50?

As title suggests, the mini logo looks tatty, amd wondering if anyone does any sort of custom plate you can use on on3 instead… or is it removable? I saw mention (if I’m not imagining it) on a UK forum they had 1.6L blah blah blah on theirs where we have the badge?

thanks in advance for any insights.

Thanks @cooper48 , I had found that thread from 2009 as well. Most companies from then either no longer exist or long since abandoned the platform.

Found that I wasn’t imagining someone taking the sticker off and there being cast in lettering under it!

Picture borrowed from billswebspace.com for illustration

I like that a lot more, especially if you can either highlight the lettering with contrasting paint, or highlight the recess around with contrasting paint leaving the lettering to match VC. Will probably do one of the two eventually.

Yep its the dodge neon euro model 1.6L shared valve cover. Some people just remove that logo and paint the letters.

Sadly facelift models have the newer valve cover and thus no lettering. My PFL does however.

That’s exactly what the Facelift vc is like, vs prefacelift. Just the blank area with the lip to locate the mini sticker.

Yep, i checked with some other people and they will not make the older style anymore. Its all going to be facelift. Used one i have seen crack, like they get stuck and pried off at the junk yards as the hardware gets beat up.

Hardware, they rust apart to nothing.
