Mini cooper changed the tpms setup late 2009 to different frequency?

Got a 2010 mini cooper S convertible R57 in with TPMS light on and resetting / relearning does not fix it. I could scan all sensors using my Autel TS408 and they all show good battery status. I just bought the car so no history. According to the research, mini cooper changed the tpms setup late 2009 to different frequency (Transmission frequency of the system: 433 MHz or Reception frequency of the system: 125 kHz ??). It might be possible that the wheels were from another mini with different tpms setup. How to troubleshoot?
Both TPMS systems seem to use 433mhz so I don't know what changes they made.
The manufacturer date of the car is 05/2010. Based on that, I can conclude it has the newer system:

So, I need Mfg Part # 36106856227KT.
How do I tell if my sensors are 36106856227KT compatible?

Also, in my TS408, when I choose Cabrio (convertible), I don't see the range for year 2010. Why? I just chose "Mini Cooper S".

Hello,

Yes the from 9/2009+ is what you need. The problem is they might have the pre 9/2009 sensors. People do that all the time. Without pulling the tire and looking at the sensor i dont know any other way.

I believe that is the case. I will have to replace them with Autel MX sensors so that even after they are installed into the tires, I can still program them (if tire is deflated) just in case.

Yep, if you get the programable sensors. We sell those universal also.

I decided to stick with genuine Autel MX 1sensors. There are some "equivalent" versions for a bit cheaper but then when u read the fine print, it says:
"When programming with AUTEL tire pressure tool, please check the "activation program version" not higher than V6.22. If the version number is V6.23 or higher, the tire pressure sensor will be locked and can no longer be used, which is equivalent to scrapping."Just not worth it.
ECSTuning, these sensors u were referring, would autel programming "lock" your sensors now (V6.34) or later when they have newer version?

I see. Use with Foxwell T1000-TPMS. It would be competition to Autel ones then.
Thanks.
