I sometimes see contributors state the factory build number of their Mini's
I.E : "2004 MCS, built November 2003, # X of X "
I ran my VIN, but it only spits out what I already know.
Is there really a way to know what # my Mini was on/off the production line?
Just curious.

 

Month and year but no manufacture sequence numbers.

 

The individually numbered cars are only for a small handful of limited production cars.

2004 MC40 Edition
2006 Competition Edition (Canada)
2006 GP
2010 WC50
2013 GP (long story)
2020/2021 GP

 

Are the GP2 numbers actually correct, or just numbers MINI assigned after the fact due to the buyers not being happy that they weren’t originally numbered?
