2022 3-Door Auto Transmission?

Does anybody have any details on the 2022 Auto Transmission for the 3-Door MINI?
I heard it's a 7 speed, but it isn't CVT, I hope.
Very hard to find info on the miniusa.com site.

They finally updated the configurator (last night) with the '22 models. There are bugs though. But you can build and see options but not much detail:

Justa: 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission
S: 7-Speed Sport Dual Clutch Transmission
JCW:
8-speed Sport Auto Transmission

Good news. Thanks a lot.

I promised my wife I'd keep my '17 F55 to 150,000 miles. I've got 110,000 miles now. I drive every chance I get, lol.
The 6 speed auto on mine has been rock solid, knock on wood. Hopefully the dual clutch will be as well.

Waiting on my '22. Can't wait to be driving a Mini again. I test-drove a '22 Hardtop S with the 7-speed dual-clutch and it was really smooth. Fun to put in 'manual mode.' I used to drive a Countryman, and downsizing to a 2-door Hardtop hatch really gives you that go-kart feeling that the Countryman didn't give. My kids won't like the back seats, but I'll remind them it's because of them I didn't get the GP.

The 7 speed auto 1.5 that I test drove was far more responsive than the Clubman 6 speed i am trading in.

I have a 2020 Service vehicle with the 7 speed dual-clutch. WOW. Love this transmission. My JCW AWD 8 speed would have a hard time beating the FWD 7speed dual-clutch from 0-60 if the FWD could hold traction. How it holds up over the long run, who knows? The fact that they seem to leave the 8 speed in the AWD versions is interesting...not sure why the new AWD didn't go to the 7 speed Dual-clutch.

In addition to many newer MINI's and some FWD-based BMW's (in Europe), the Getrag 7DCT300 is used in Europe in a few Renault vehicles. I think even some Mercedes-Benz models in Europe may share it.

It is a 7-speed DCT. Very nice transmission.

The 8 speed that comes in mine kicks butt. I think it's different than the other Minis and JCWs (except the GT3).
