Muffler delete and resale value

So I recently bought an R56 Cooper S with a deleted muffler. It was also falsely advertised as JCW, which I learned after purchase that it is not. Deals too good to be true usually are...
I'm doing some minor repairs to look top notch to sell it and find a true JCW. My question is - what impact will this deleted muffler have on resale value? I honestly think it sounds pretty good albeit loud with the windows down without the muffler and the current exhaust looks great but I have a feeling that a lot of folks prefer stock. Looks like there are plenty of used mufflers on Ebay for $120. Maybe make it $300 with install charge? Will I more than recoup that amount on the sale? I honestly didn't even notice the muffler was gone, just thought it was a louder sound with the JCW package.

I doubt the muffler is going to impact resale value. It's a muffler......easily fixed if so desired. I for one would have liked a little more aggressive exhaust over the stock

Did you buy it from a dealer/lot or a private seller?

If the car was misrepresented you may have some recourse. It’s worth looking into the law in your state and maybe speak with an attorney.

Private Seller. I'm not the type to take folks to court but it was still a good price. Made some other low cost improvements so hopefully I will come out ahead.
