RE: Polyurethane Engine Mount Inserts Longetivity

Dear fellow Mini Motorists,
I've come across Powerflex Polyurethane Engine Mount Inserts (including the Gearbox Inserts), and this is the first time I've seen "insert" bushings. I'm familiar with polyurethane replacement bushings that are advertised to outlast the life of the car (a buy-it-for-life kind of thing) but need to be installed with a press as they replace the rubber part- ie control arm bushings.

Do polyurethane inserts have any effect on the life of engine mounts? Can anyone comment on if these insert bushings are just for a tighter feel and have no effect on the life of the actual engine mount? Thanks in advance!
