What is the "urgent" folder and the "emergency videos"? I had three videos pop up as "emergency videos", and downloaded one, which ended up in the "urgent" folder. No clue what I did to tag these videos as " emergency". Also, how do you delete the "emergency video"? I can select the regular videos and delete those, but am not able to select any of the "emergency" ones.

Emergency Videos are saved in a separate folder as a result of your "Impact sensitivity setting". They are set aside so it doesn't get erased accidentally.

So if you hit a pot hole at high rated speed, the shock sensor inside the camera triggers an "incident" and saves the current video in the "emergency videos" folder.

Hey, thanks for the explanation. I kinda assumed that, but in all the "emergency" videos the car wasn't moving. From what I gathered, it might be triggered by my passenger closing their door. I've been playing with the impact settings to see which is the best for my scenario.

In regards to deleting the videos, I found that reformatting the card using the app will erase them, or manually deleting them from the card by using my laptop.

Appreciate the help.

Installed the R56 version in my 2016 Countryman S R60

Looks great, totally stock, I haven't wired it yet, but I will tomorrow and report. Only issue is, when I scanned the QR code the app is completely in Japanese. Does anyone have the English version of the app?... Android please...

Oh, PS. I saw a youtube video of this unit installed in a Countryman with the Rain sensor like mine and the top of the frame is blocked, but it's suck a wide image that it's still plenty of view. The rain sensor kind of acts like a sunshade to keep flares at bay.

here is the vide I saw that shows the cameras for the R60.

Hi folks.. I purchased a dashcam from Bytetronik in Tx. It's their R56 version, Looks super OEM, Very easy to install. Has an App you can download for both Android or Iphone to control. The camera comes with wiring that allows you to plug it's connector directly into your OBD2 port it you run the camera wires down the drivers side, or you can wire it down the passenger side and use an Add a Circuit fuse holder in the kickpanel on the passenger side.

The kit wires with Ground, Acc power, and constant power.. On my 2016 Countryman S, I wired the ACC wire to Fuse 44, then the Constant 12+ wire to Fuse 7. and the ground I wired to a large 13mm bolt on the passenger dash side. You see access to the bolt when you remove the glovebox.

Sure would be nice if the distributor could respond to messages on whether this will become available again or is still available.

Does anyone know if the R56 unit would also fit the R57 convertible? There are various aliexpress providers with cameras that seem like they'd fit, but I don't know how different the R56 mirror is from the R57 convertible. This being a basic setup, not with any rain sensor on the glass, just a stalk down from the trim around the window.
