I've been rear ended twice within the same week and in one case the driver got off because I couldn't prove that they did it (long story full of frustration). I'm looking for a dashcam that records front and back and hopefully while the car is parked and off for short periods of time. Any advice helps, thanks!

 

Do a search on YouTube. There are tons of suggestions, but I recommend staying with TechMoan; his reviews are very good and unbiased.

 

I didn't want to influence you with my choice. FYI - I have Mini 0806 installed in the front behind the rear view mirror. It has all the features and some that you are looking for. I bought the complete set up at Amazon for $121. I am very happy with the quality of the video. I have the older model 0805 installed in the back ($75); not that happy with color of the video but that is due to the dark tint on the glass.
