After picking up a 2017 MCS "7" for the misses, she decided that she would rather have a 2016 MCS that was able to be "turned into" one of the Minis that you see in the display catalog.




Granted going back a year and ahead only 988 miles seemed bonkers, but this "new" 2016 does have quite the number of options the 2017 didn't so sure, costs a bit more but its what she wants right?

Anyhow - looking at the Mini site as well as ECS's for the roof decals, it would seem that they list this only for the "true hardtop" which does not have the glass roofs.

Can anybody point us in the direction of finding out where / who makes something that would fit her Mini? For the additional bits it would seem that the dealer would have them available but any other suggestions would be great as well if known.

When MINI was new there were several places that popped up doing various graphics special for MINI and some of these did roof decals in three pieces for the sunroof cars.

The car wrap business seems to have pretty much driven them out of business. Look for your local car wrap place. They can make virtually ANYTHING you want from just the roof (including cutouts for sunroof) to entire car wraps .....

Outmotoring still lists a few sunroof coverings but these do ONLY the glass part (incl GEN3) ....

Speedwell Blue isn't available as a glass roof graphic. You can get all of the other parts, though -

Hmm... thats a good idea on the local "wrappers," they might have something that would work for sure or actually "make" it.

We did yes - got them on order from your site and looks like shipping started out with FedEx, but looks like delivery to the house will be by the U.S. postal service. Should be here pretty quick, looks like it left Denver yesterday and we're just on the other side of the mountain which isn't too far of a jaunt. And who says they all can't play nice? 😎

The misses is stoked, she's got no scuddles on the sides now and is looking forward to getting some on there.
