Muffler delete help!!

Hey so I have an r56 Cooper s, and I have had it with an open downpipe for a couple of weeks, but my highway commute with the drone is driving me nuts. Have any of you done a muffler delete and/or do you think it will drone as much? The car stock sounds too quiet for me. Thanks
