It's been in the dealership for a month and half. Also, I tried to Google the rear bumper and I can not find that style. Has the rear bumper been replaced?
I didn't know that was a Aero Kit. I thought that was an aftermarket rear bumper because I couldn't find any images. Now that I typed in Aero Kit, I see it. It was a limited time factory body kit.
Thank you!

Don't get sucked in by the low miles. Read the threads, check the issues out with those engines and years. I'd rather buy a later model year with more miles. The thing about low mile cars is often that the problems have yet to surface and when they do you have to pay for them rather than a warranty.
I wouldn't buy a used MINI that didn't still have a warranty or came with a new one unless I was an experienced DIY'er who can fix anything for parts only costs.

Looks pretty clean, don't know if that's a good price or not. As already suggested, do some searches on the n14 engine, which I think they switched to the n18 in 2011..
Trending Topics
An N14 engine is less desirable than an N18 engine. There are plenty of us driving them and love our cars, but they are more prone to repairs than the later model engines. As others have said, search the forums to get more details.
Since this is a MINI dealer selling the car, you can ask more detailed questions the they should have answers to. For example, is there much carbon buildup? Also, they can look up any history on the vehicle to see how often the oil was changed, or what repairs were done (timing chain, thermostat, etc.)
Being knowledgeable about the problems with the N14 gives you some leverage for them to offset with dollars/service/extended warranty, etc. if they are motivated to sell the car.
If you opt to purchase the car, I would strongly encourage an extended warranty regardless. I had my R55 officially inspected by a MINI dealership and dumped $1500 worth of repairs in her only to have the timing chain go out 2-weeks later. The point being, you never know if or when something will fail regardless how good something looks at the time.

Can someone help me on this purchase? I went to look at this in person and it looks great inside and out.

His price is $9200.
The car was driven by his mother and it was barely used.

Get a PPI, pre purchase inspection and do your research on the model year of the car. Check all the online pricing guides for values.
Mom driven, adult driven, driven by a team of nuns, all that means zip.
fyi - I personally wouldn't buy a 2010 having read countless threads on the issues of those cars.

I just sold my 2009 with 60k for 4800...I think the price is a little too much. for 10k you can get a nice 2012 JCW, no/? Dealers will always hyper inflame the price, but when you go for a trade in, they give you low value for your ride...pfff!
oh, i have 2013 base with 4500 miles for sale for less than that. (rebuilt title though)

Thank you my friend. Yes the S model is a lot better and faster. I think it is worth expanding your search to nearby cities Or even auctions. If finance is the issue then it is another topic as to whom you buy from.
Don't rush it and remember that these are mostly summer cars. Take advantage of winter specials and slower market for minis ;-)

Definitely get a PPI. Saying the mother drove it makes me think there could be a lot of carbon build-up because she's not driving the car hard and making a lot of short trips.
With that all being said, I am going to look at this one tomorrow. http://elitemotorgroupny.com/2011-MI...5/Details.aspx
