Ventilator in the glove box

Not sure about the purpose of this in my R52.

Connected to A/C. Keeps your "soda" cold.

A zero cost, zero value add-on to check a box on car comparrsion sites.... The car version of software bloat. Sure...you can toss a candy bar in the glove box...or a soda...but don't turn off the car! On a rag-top,it could be argued that there might be a use on a sunny day...but this item predates the introduction of the cabrio in 2005....
MINI's not alone in having features like this....I left it open, and joked that it kept the owners manual from turning yellow from moisture for 10 years!

That's all I could think of. Rarely have the AC on so I doubt I would ever use it.
