Inside of driver's side window collecting moisture
I rolled up the window of my 2009 Cooper to find the entire window covered in moisture. Moisture doesn't appear every time I roll my window up, but appears enough to concern me that there is an issue that may worsen (electric failures, rust, etc).
Does anyone have any experience with this issue?
Super huge thanks in advance to anyone that can help!
Might be a bunch of moisture in the carpet or foot well, do you have a sunroof ? Front sunroof drain tubes. if not you might have the window cracked too low or out of adjustment or the weatherstripping seal is split on the door or not seated all the way.
Do you notice any type of water inside the vehicle other than your window/door panel? I'd maybe pop off your door panel and investigate to see what it looks like inside. It could maybe be something as simple as a seal. Check the condition of the outer weather strip seal, #3 below. Also, check the condition of the door handle seals. Let me know what you find.
