This error message appears on my dash off and on. When this message appears, my passenger low beam headlight doesn't work. When the light goes off, the headlight works perfectly. I have unplugged all of the headlight wiring and plugged it back in thinking there was a loose connection. The problem still continues on an intermittent basis. I can't drive the car at night because I'm not sure if my headlight will work or not. Have any of you had this problem or know how to fix it?
Check the plug socket and also check the bulb. If the element on the halogen is hanging on by the wire a little it will go on and off. You will see the break in the wire if you look at it close.

When it goes out are you able to give it a little giggle or thump to see if it comes back on? Have you tried to swap the bulbs to see if it happens with a different bulb?
I wiggled the wires and also replaced the headlight bulb. Neither of these things fixed it. When I replaced the bulb, I noticed that the connector that latches to the bulb looked burned up. Do you know if I could replace just this piece or does all of the wiring need to be replaced?

You'll definitely want to replace that as that can definitely cause an issue with your light not working. I believe you'll be wanting this repair kit HERE. I believe the blue parts pushes into the housing once you have the wires installed. The piece sticking up locks them into place once the wires have slid in. After you install it make sure the bulb is properly installed into the socket so there isn't a loose connection as that may be why the original one got burnt up.
I had a Buick a few years back where the headlight plugs melted. GM's remedy was to sell me lower power headlight bulbs which, of course continued to fail. When I decided enough was enough and saw the sockets had melted, they charged me $50. each for the sockets.
That was the last GM car I'll ever buy in my lifetime.
At least $15 is almost reasonable. Halogen bulbs must get awfully hot, or somebody has taken a shortcut in spec'ing out the plastic sockets.
Had this happen in the past, bumped the headlight with my hand and the light kicked back on you could see the fragile element hanging when they were off on the bulb itself. When it was just a bulb issues. Looks like the bulbs that were in it were too hot or modified.
