I'm goin on 60 - purchased Lil Min New -(call it a late mid life crisis gift). A 06 Hyper Blue Cooper-24,050 miles. Have Installed a DDM CAI and Megan Catback, a few other little odds and ends- more as my budget allows.
62 and counting. Velvet red 03 and Red w/white top 75. My first mini was a 1966 in Germany 1970. British racing green with black top. 850 cc. Scary on the Autobahn.
just 20, all the mini drivers i see in Houston look old enough to be my parents (and the members i see on HMMS).. I wish i could find people my age around here, i feel left out.
All of my friends drive asian cars like corollas civics(i used to) 350z and some other hondas,, the perk of being unique i guess
All of those "old guys" have just as much spirit and more experience than you. Hang out with them and take their advice.

33 years old now on my 3rd MINI the first being an '03 R50 and second an '05 R53. Have a few other cars but still use the MINI as a DD at almost 90k since delivery in October of '07 bringing my total to over 350k of MINI motoring.
Entered the fray 6 days before D-Day ! Probably a good thing. If I'd had Beelzebub when I was 25, I'd be sending this from jail, and by mail. As I. Jones once said: "It's not the years, it's the mileage".
HI, Age 55 and my 15th sports car. 6 British, 2 American, 4 Japanese, 1 Italian and 2 German. Keep coming back to British but don't miss Lucas Electric. Love the MINI, 6000 miles of smiles so far...
