OMG! Can't believe this thread is still kicking. So am I, but a year older since I last posted here. 66! Beelzebub's a year older, too, but has somehow acquired a few mods in the last year, LOL. (see sig.)

I'm 18. When I was looking for a Mini, all my friends were like, "Pfff....stick to your Jeep (Wrangler), it's much more..."manly" than a Mini." Since I got "Oreo" (2009 Mini Cooper S: Pepper white with a black top) my friends are like, "So uh...your car is pretty sick. Sorry I gave you a hard time when you were searching for one. It's not girly at all." I bought a Mini because I wanted something different than what all my friends had/have. I didn't want to be in the "lifted truck/SUV" cliche. Motor on!

67 and still here! Had a heart attack and bypass a year ago and realized I needed a change. So with wife's support I did the most extravagant and
impractical thing I've ever done and got a 07 MC Conv. Needless to say, this is the best medicine I'm on, no contest. Life is good!

So I got a little curious and wrote a quick script to try and grab as many ages as I could from this thread. I stopped at the first 11 pages because although I was able to parse out most of the ages, it became a largely manual job as some users would type their age in words (fifty six), some would have fun with words (turdy six) and some went Roman on me (LXXI). You never know what you're gonna get from these crazy MINIacs.
Anyway, for those who are also curious, I took a sample size of about 200 (206 to be exact) from the first 11 pages (8/2004 through 10/2005).
Avg: 36
Median: 34
Youngest: 15
Oldest: 89
Top Ten Ages
Count / Age

7 / 18
7 / 21
7 / 29
7 / 32
7 / 45
8 / 22
8 / 27
9 / 26
11 / 19
I'll try to get another batch in to see if the median age has gone up or down, or stayed the same since about 5 years ago.
