Ages of MINI drivers, don't be shy
Thanks! Had my MINI for a bit over 4 months and am having the time of my life. Getting ready to make my first MINI run with a MINi group here in my state. So excited. NEVER loved a car this much
Ahhhh, I thought I was "typical"
Turns out most Mini drivers are closer to my grandkids age...or my GREAT grandkids;-)
73 last April.
Various vehicles littered around the house:93 Saturn coupe, 2003 GMC Envoy, 1968 VW bug, 1998 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton,1979 Porsche 911-SC well warmed over, 2002 Boxster,1976 912-E (DO NOT sneer at the lovely "E" model, it is a 911 that doesn't cater to insecure sorts who require fire breathing, wasted sound and fury....and finally the Mini. It has clocked 4,500 miles in the last 2 months, double all the others put together.
Three Porschi lanquishing in the garage so you can drive the Mini HAS to be a solid endorsement!
edit: Wife looking over shoulder remarked I overlooked her 2004 SRX

You go, Grandpa!!
Life is good...
I am still only 25 in my mind. Some days only 17.
My drivers license tells me that I'm 60.
Most days, I just can't buy that!
No matter what my chronological age, its fun to drive my MINI CM. And, especially when I am driving (as opposed to walking up hill, LOL) I still feel 25.

No wonder all the MODS, I always wondered why add the mods and then hurt the motor.... 30 in mind 68 in age.. Keep trying to make this great stock car go faster,as the part dealers are getting rich.. Just like the CASINOS
Hey man, I probably won't go cuz I didn't register for it and I may have to do some internship work. I will be immensely jealous of you and your trip to MOT though. Hope it would be fun and meeting more Miniacs.
I posted some photos of my new wheels and my car and my friends' cars and a Coffee and Cars event at Brookline. Some nice cars there...

Well now I'm 61. Got rid of my '06 - R53 for a '09 - R56 with 6200 miles. Incredible find. Some guy bought it for his daughter but she didn't like it so he drove it around a little then traded it in for an SLS AMG! Yeah, a Mini for a SLS AMG. Can you say...Spoiled...or what's dad do for a living??
Now looking at a Lexus CT200h to keep the Mini company. Anyone driven a CT200?
