Looks like my wife has talked me into a trip to England in late August for a visit and cruise around the islands. Since we will be in London for 2-3 days before the cruise, I am thinking a tour of Mini factory might be in order if there is such a thing. Anyone have any info on this??
Also, we will be Going to Guernsey as part of the cruise. Does anyone know of any Mini events coming up in London area or Guernsey in the August 25-Sept 3 time frame. I am a fairly new Mini Owner(2012 R57), enjoying a chance to meet other Miniacs.

 

There is a bus from London to Oxford lookup the factory and you have to make reservations. The probably have train also. Not far. Try to contact them befroe leaving the US.

Make sure Oxford MINI has resumed doing tours. You have to make reservations for a tour way in advance. It's an easy Google to find the plant site and tour contact info.

 

Thanks. Will check the info. My wife is planning the trip, so there goes a lot of time. I think she want to visit the Tower to see if she can pick up some trinkets in the Crown Jewel room. Maybe there longer than planned??

These guys have a very strict 'no trinkets' policy and you don't want to know where the spiky end of the axe goes on trinketeers...

 

I understand. Been there, seen the ravens, ogled the jewels, had some 'skate and chips', but as with most women, she doesn't want to just look.....

The Tower is not still open for "Guests" is it???
