Looks good but the nose is a bit long. It's a 4 door Clubman with barn doors. Sweet!

Cool, thanks for posting link! IMHO the Clubman carries the basic new design of the F series a lot better than the hatchback or 4 door: with increased length and width, the front overhang is far less obnoxious. Looks like they cleaned up the cluttered front bumper too, and the railroad tie is less obnoxious. I've read that inside they have cleaned up the design language as well: they've done away with the horrible mix of round and rectangular vents (all rect. now). Overall, in terms of looks this will be a significant improvement over the hatchback, I think.

The railroad tie is the big black (soft) beam in the mouth of the carp

It could just be the spy shots, but this model looks noticeably larger than the current 4 door hardtop. I really hope Mini decided to make a vehicle with backseat comfort and storage in mind. I love my Mini, but I miss my Mazdaspeed 3 to death. I could fit three buddies comfortably and still fit stuff in the trunk. If Mini doesn't address that by the time I'm ready to buy a new vehicle, I'm going to have to look at other makers.

Looks like Mini released an official teaser.

Also, here is a concept model that I've managed to never see.

I think it looks sexy.

I agree, it also looks good.

However, what is up with the new marketing collateral that MINI is going with?

The typeface looks out-of-place and boring (is that Times New Roman I see?!), and they seem to be positioning the Clubman in a more elegant, rather than sporty, light. A lot of the news surrounding it mentions the space and the quilted leather interior more than the performance.

This stands in stark contrast to what the brand has been about all these years since BMW took over: Uniqueness, Performance, Premium feel, and fun in a small package.

I should probably reserve my judgment until I see where they're going to take this, but it just feels weird to me.
