Trying to make a decision. Thoughts?

So, I ordered a 2015 CMS and it is currently waiting a vessel for transportation. During this time I came across the clubman concept car which is rumored to be released in 2016. Of course one of the dealers I went to, after telling me they discontinued the clubman, went on telling me he had no idea if they had anything in the works. That was a 5 weeks ago. Every article I came across about the clubman was from 5 months ago. One of many reason I have a hard time trusting dealers.

Now, I would of bought a clubman this year if 1) they didn't discontinue it and 2) if it had four doors.

I would of waited to buy one if I new they had a four door version in the works prior to ordering a countryman. I prefer the style of the clubman over the countryman. I like the double doors in the back and the concept clubman has four doors with a new engine from what I can gather.

Anyone have thoughts on this? I'm debating on waiting to purchase a mini this year and wait for the clubman to arrive. I also read rumors of a possible hybrid.

My car now is reliable so I'm not in a rush to jump out of what I have now. Aside from the crappy gas mileage I'm getting. The catch is if I wait it might not arrive and if I don't wait it could arrive. And if I wait will it be what I hoped for.

What to do, what to do!

Have you seen this thread: F54/Clubbie speculation

Just my $0.02 but I like this design far more than the Countryman, Paceman, or F56. If you can cancel your order without paying a penalty or losing a deposit, and if your current ride is sound I'd be tempted to wait. You could also perhaps save some more $$ for the downpayment.

Obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so if you like the CM enough you might be just as well to get it now. First year-cars can have some gremlins, and who knows if the actual product that comes off the line and hits dealer showrooms will be exactly like the concept or not.

There's no easy answer, and each branch of the decision tree has its pro's and con's. Only you can make the decision that's right for you.

Indeed you are correct!

Through the AAA buying program and from what my MA told me there will be no penalty. I will talk to my MA in the next few days and make a decision soon.

Thanks for the link to the F54 thread.
