Can anyone tell me if the new Iphone 5c or 5s would be compatible with my '12 bluetooth?

 

I have a iPhone 5 (not a C or S) with iOS7 and it works perfect with my 12 R56 MCS. I cant imagine the C or S would be any different

 

+1 I don't see why it wouldn't. MINI/BMW and Apple seem to have a decent relationship. Of any phone to work right with a MINI would be an iPhone.

 

I'm sure someone will tell me I'm wrong, but the the sales person at your local carrier store should be happy to pair up one of their phones to your car in order to check compatibility.

 

Thanks for your replies. I had a bad experience buying an android phone and found out that it wasn't compatible with my Audi A4. I was conned by a flake salesman at a Radio Shack store.
I bought an Iphone 3 and it has always with all my cars. I would like to buy the 5 because of its new features and the huge increase in memory.

 

I have an iPhone 5 and an R56, they play well together.

 

I just upgraded from the 4S to the 5S and it works fine on Bluetooth and with my Bluetooth adp2 adapter. The Y cable works fine with a 30 pin to a lightning adapter.

 

Anyone have any issues with a 30 pin to lightning adaptor and playing audio? Just wondering before I order an adaptor.
