Wanted to get some more input from you guys. I'm looking at a 2008 R56 MCS CR/W with sport package, LSD, multi function steering wheel with about 52k miles... price is in negotiation now, but they're asking $15,991. What do you guys think?

Mileage isn't bad but for the age and light options, that price seems high.
For reference I bought my 2008 PW MCS, 39k miles manual with lounge leather, premium, convenience, and sport (except the sport suspension) for 15.5. You should be able to get it down further than 15.9k

I agree. Thank you both for the feedback. I ended up passing on that car for now. We'll see what else pops up. I'm not in any hurray, well maybe I am a little bit.

Whatever you end up paying for the car - make sure you get full maintenance history on it, and that timing chain + tensioner job has been done.
Otherwise, subtract another $2K from the sales price (alternatively - I would pay premium for any car that has had the chain and tensioner replaced).

I did that! timing chain, water pump and surprisingly a new transmission completed within the last 2 years.

It's obviously your dime, but I would pay premium if I was looking at an MCS with new timing chain AND a new tranny.
Good luck,

Thanks for the feedback. We're only a few hundred dollars off my target price. I'm sure they can work out the couple hundred bucks... at least offer to split the difference with me. We'll see.
Thanks again everyone for the feedback. I hope I can update this with pictures of a new purchase soon!
