I'm seriously considering ordering these now even before I get our '14 MCS Convertible delivered. For those of you that ordered from the UK, did the VAT come off the price when you checked out and paid?

Figures, I found out the answer myself....YES IT DOES. So, shipping is about the same as the removed VAT. All things considered, I think that's a great deal.

Yea, about $75 shipping, plus DHL will send you a bill for about $15.

Didn't know that. Thanks for that tidbit. Does that bill delay shipping?

Nope. Shipping is 2-4 days. You will get the bill a week or so later.

Even sweeter! Irvine Mini has agreed to do the install for $165 flat! They're intrigued by the whole set up and I agreed to allow them to take pictures. SWEET!!!

Wow. Having lived in OC, I'm surprised they agreed to that. Send your service advisor the install instructions to make sure they tap the correct wire. Also tell them to remove headlights instead of pulling front bumper.

Try Crevier. I prefer them over Irvine.

Looks like I have some research to do on how to make these work on a Canadian car.

So, If I wanted to do the install myself, I could use the instructions but remove the headlights instead of the bumper? Has anyone here done the headlight removal install themselves. If so, how difficult is the job?

Hi SuperGreg,

Does taking out the headlights affect the alignment of the headlight beams? or are they pretty rigid?

Cheers,
M

Cool, thanks.

I've had them in my cart on minigenuineparts.com, but they need me to put in this info: "Please enter Chassis / VIN or Reg Number so we can ensure the parts you ordered fit your MINI. *"

These guys turned out to be the cheapest to ship to Australia. My Mini hasn't arrived yet, but is on track for late September. Its been a long month and a bit.

Just a question, and a shot in the dark, but what are the possibilities these DRL's are gonna be on the '14's when fogs are in the build? I haven't actually seen any '14's yet so I'm just curious.
