'Awaiting Transport'!!!!! (wait continues...)

I am pretty excited...my R61's status just changed this morning!! (owner's
lounge)

My PM was born on the 24th and hopefully it will be on his way soon...

I was wondering...how much time do I need to give before being able to
start the tracking from the WW's site??? (as of now, they are not showing
anything...and yes, I read the how to track your mini post...)

I am not sure which freight it will be on... Will my MA be able to tell me
that???

I am in VA...so if anyone has info about what to expect from this
point on...I'd be very appreciative!

Thanks!!

My R60 finished production on the 19th and I'm STILL waiting for a ship. Looking at the sales numbers they had about 2k CM and PM's purchased last month so it might be a little slow leaving Bremerhaven.

Hello

I checked every day and it really depends, I am not sure where the PM is being picked up but if its at the CM plant than it will leave from a port in Germany.

If you go to the WW site you can kinda guess what ship it will be on. Ask your MA what port the car is going to arrive to in the US and then look on the WW site for ships going to and from the two ports.

Also don't get worried if your vin states being "returned to port" after it said it was going to be loaded on a boat. That means your car didn't make the first attempt and had to go back to the dock to wait for the next attempt.

Its a long wait I know, hope this helped.

mdri- wait is long. If you are in VA do you know if you come over port of Baltimore? I Know WWL contracts to ARC Also which means you could beon a a K-Line ship or ARC or WW ship. K-line hauls the bulk East Coast but when sales spike they could be on anything that floats. ARC link is below.

Also, if you end up on a K-Line ship, it could already be in the water for nearly a week before your status will change. My MA didn't get word about my roadster getting on a boat until six days after they sailed!

Yeah...the wait without knowing anything is pretty hard...
Well, I know the port it will arrive is Baltimore...
I have been checking the WWL site everyday since the 29th and
nothing...no records found...(just to verify...enter the whole VIN
in the cargo ID field, right?)
I suspect it might be on the K-line ship...I hope...

At this point, any ship that will arrive here sooner than later
will do!

I'm in transit now too. Sounds like we might be shipmates.

Wow. You both are shipmates?? Lucky...

Did you find 'en-route' status on owner's lounge??
As of this morning, mine was still 'awaiting transport'...
(I might check it again now...oh, never mind...its still
the same...)

I just got off the phone with our MA...unfortunately mine
is still trying to be loaded onto the ship...big sigh.........
I was really hoping mine got on the ship and sailing already!
