I want to see how many of us use our MINIs as daily drivers.
For those that only drive their MINIs part time I want to see how often they drive them.

For me, number '1'. My MINI is my only vehicle and I drive it every day.

Plus some additional track days in between for fun!

 

A mix of 2 and 3.

I have a beater Toyota Echo that used to belong to my wife. I drive that about 2 times a week to keep the mileage off the MINI (70 mile daily commute 4 days a week). On the weekends, my wife prefers to take her Prius V everywhere, so the MINI stays home.

2 for me if my Husband's Soul counts. On the weekends unless I have a Club event to go, or we're going a distance from home and prefer to get there faster we take Molly!! Otherwise she is the Garage Queen!!

 

100 miles a day goes my mini! I love it!

 

#1 - Daily driver every day.

 

My MINI Clubman is my daily driver, however I also have a 1959 Morris mini minor restored to original specs which is a very occasional driver.

 

I guess #2 here. My wife takes it to work four days a week and I get to play with on her days off - but we have other vehicles too.

 

2 - I have other vehicles, but they have their specific uses. MINI for commute and fun, 140+ miles a day. F350 4x4 crew cab dually, pulling trailers and other truck stuff. FJ cruiser, off road fun, and daughters vehicle.

Daily for commuting. Weekends for fun. And the top is down every time I get in it unless it's actully raining. My personal best was about 24 degrees F one morning.

 

Mark me as a 2. I drive the MINI everyday to work. Wife has the Subaru that she drives everyday. I kept my Accord for occasional use when/if the MINI is in my garage getting modifications.

Before I left for college it would be 1. However, I wasn't able to take my MINI with me to school. But my parents, my mother especially, probably drive it 3x per week so in that case I guess a 3.

 

1 its my only car I have a cbr600rr for the nice days. But I have been thinking about selling my bike for alot of upgrades for my r53 : ) head cam coilovers and a few other goodies is tempting

 

I must say I'm a little surprised at the number of daily ( or nearly daily) drivers we have here so far.
I really did think we'd be in the minority.
To be honest I based that assumption on a few folks who live near me that use their Minis very little and seem to treat them as "toys".

 

Funny....My Mini is my only car but I do have a Buell motorcycle as well. I've also considered selling it to do some upgrades on my R56 MCS.

 

Answer #4. I have six other cars, my MINI is my Thursday car!
