I apologize!

I hereby take full responsibility for my actions. Yesterday I it was 55 and sunny here in Western Mass, so I brought my summer wheels and tires up from their winter hiding spot and gave them a thorough cleaning, two coats of wax and dressed the tires. I decided not to put them on, but the damage has been done.
I apologize for the white crap that fallen due to my over-excitement for spring.
Damn you Mother Nature!!

It's partly my fault. I'm in SE Mass, and I did put my summer tyres on at the weekend. It's 29 degrees this morning, but no white stuff here!

I use the Turkey - Tax day approach. Anytime I've tried to cheat and take the winter tires off early, I've been burned.

I've been rolling on summers for 2 weeks now in northeast Ohio. Had some close call days, but *fingers crossed* ok so far.

And that is why I don't live where it snows.

^ I have one more year of school left and am seriously considering moving south afterward. We'll see where job opportunities take me! (maybe I'll even bring my wife)

if you go south you live in a sauna for half the year. Go north-west and you get drowned almost daily. Go south west and you get baked in the desert or shaken to bits. Stay in the middle and visit Oz now and again. There are problems everywhere...

Well that's why I got the hell out of Massachusetts and moved to Texas!

You are obviously old enough to have a driver's license and maybe old enough to have a credit rating for a large item purchase like making car payments and the like so...you should be old enough to know better than to mess with mother nature. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING???

...just remembered an admonition received from a crusty old Master Chief Bosun's Mate: "Don't let your enthusiasm outrun your capabilities."

Too funny. Thanks!

Waiting for some monsoon-like April showers to wash the salt off the roads over here in Syracuse!

HA HA! I definitely old enough, I just let spring fever get the best of me!

Jonnieoh, you'd better be careful what you wish for. That monsoon you are waiting for might end being lake effect snow! LEARN FROM MY FAIL!

Where in western mass did you get snow? I live in south Hadley, didn't see a single flake. Also, the comment about moving to different parts of the country and their downfalls, I live near VA beach for awhile. Not too cold in winter not too hot in summer. Weather obviously varies everywhere(except maybe San Diego), so there's always years that are worse than others.

I'm in Lenox (next to Pittsfield).
I wouldn't move just to escape the weather here, as every area has something to complain about, I'd just like to try something different for a while.
