Hello everyone,
I am a newbie to the Mini site and haven't purchased my first Mini yet but I will be placing my order for a 2013 Clubman by the end of this month.
My question is this:
I've had a lot of people tell me, and I've read, that the Mini cars in general tend to rattle quite a bit after only less then a year. In other words, there seems to be a lot of extra noise in the interior of the car that is maybe a little unsettling I guess you would say.
I am going forward with my purchase and can't wait but just wondered if the noises were something I get to look forward too.

I have a 2009 Clubman S that I bought new. So far no real "rattles" of any consequence.

Have you been one to take your car in for it's regular maintanence?

Yes, I took it in for its regular maintenance.

Like any piece of equipment, the mini will need regular "squeak" maintenance - so when you hear something, track it down and fix it!

If you're not a "fix it" type person then just turn the radio louder!

I am a "fix it" type guy as I just sold my '62 VW bug for my down payment for my new Clubman S.
