Good Radar Detector Mount?

Just picked up a passport Solo S3 detector, (I know there are better units out there, but I change cars constantly so it works well for me) and the factory mount flops around to much. So does any one have any good recommendations?

I have the Solo S2 and I use the suction cups that come with it. I mount

it above the rear view mirror on the left, no bounce or vibration at all.

Plus it's not so obvious than in the middle of the windshield.

Did you use the two sided tape instead of the suction cups?

I used the same exact mounting technique as this one - great minds think alike.

I also added a remote display - this is the best detector setup I've had to date.

That is a very clean installation, I really like the remote display.

Yes i used the double sided tape, and its perfect. I have tried every mount out there, and for me this has been the best, no vibration, a very tight fit and its exactly were i want it, just left of the top of the mirror

I normally take the suction cups off and glue the mount to the windshield
(the silicone stuff). I think it makes it easier to remove because it is
100 percent non wiggly. It is basically one motion to pop the cord out and
slide the detector off the mount - exapsed time is about 3 seconds.
