Anyone know if/where I can get a "MINI 10 Years in America 2002-2012" magnetic badge for my ride that looks like this new logo?

$50+ for a badge? How much did they really cost at the MTTS event?

 

I've never seen them at an event My dealer claimed they didn't have them. This is a "MINI 10 Years in America 2002-2012" centenial badge, not a "Mini Takes The States" sticker. Auction says limited to dealers only, but we all know how that sales verbage goes...

Bidding on eBay started about $10. I got mine for something like $27. I've seen them go for almost $90!

Very nice quality all metal piece. Looks great on my 2012!

I have no affiliation with the seller of these. I have mine just below the rear license plate on the lower flat part of the boot. May mount it on a 2-bolt grill badge plate down the road if I ever add my planned full body center stripe...

Would love to know where these actually come from. If they are produced by MINI or if they were a limited run item for an event. I've picked up another sticker on a recent trip to Canada, so I have a matched pair now:

I just got one off if eBay like 12 mins ago (sorry if you were the high bidder). They must be rare as heck because it was not cheap.

 

I wish I could find a magnetic one. I don't like the idea of putting anything on my mini forever . I guess I'll keep my eyes peeled now for one.

 

Where can we find the interior stickers?

 

Both of these stickers are static stickers yes. I picked them both up at Dealers, MINI of Allentown had the US sticker and Downtown (Toronto) MINI had the Canadian sticker. I got the last of each of these stickers at these dealers I believe. They were given to dealers but they don't seem to have them anymore. Seems like MINI has missed a chance to market some nice logos to owners, eh? I'd buy a shirt and/or hat with these logos in addition to wanting that metal badge too.

Why to get the stick on badge, and some magnetic backing and make it a magnet?

Saw this badge on a car at passport this week. But seeing as mine is an 11 I don't think I'll get one on my car.

 

Posted an extra one of the all metal "MINI 10 YEARS IN AMERICA 2002-2012" badges in the market place here today. I bought two and was going to put them under the side markers on each side originally, but ended up just using one on the boot.
