I have been participating on NAM since April 2011 and took delivery of my CM in September. One thing that is troubling me is that there are no MINI clubs in either Bucks County PA or Southern NJ. (Princeton on down). My wife and I are aware of PhillyMINI but that is in Delaware County and is over an hour away. We would like to start a MINI club in Bucks County or the Princeton Area. If anyone is interested feel free to PM me or post your thoughts here.

PhillyMINI seems to encompass the whole Philly greater metropolitan area- we just went to their Night Owl Rally last night, and there seemed to be people from Delaware up through the Poconos.

That said, we'd be game for any gatherings in the Bucks County area

Thanks for the info. Last night's run was not posted on their website. If it was, we would probably have been there. I will keep you posted as things develop.

 

Last night's rally was on the site- that was how we found out about it Although it did fill up almost right away- there was a waiting list.

For what it's worth, the next one is 12/3- Deck the MINIs Rally. Info is on the website. Maybe we'll see you there

 

That's a reason why we need another club in the area.

 

NEMINI is another regional group. I lead two runs that were in our area (went through Stockton and New Hope, among other areas) during the summer, both of which were on that site.

Will do, if you keep an eye out on that site as well then more runs will come up. But I will let you know if there is anything in our area. I haven't been able to design another route/run recently due to school work. Soon enough I will!

 

So jealous of your clubs activity levels! Mine seems to die down during the winter (aka...I don't think I'll see another run until the tundra...er snow thaws a bit).

Maybe I'll have to find a run while I'm in the tri-state area for the holidays!

Try and attend deck the Mini's with Phillymini......if I'm not mistaken it's held in Westchester or Exton. I think Otto's Mini is hosting it. They say it's a real blast, it will be my first one and all the info is on the site. And last nights run was a blast that was a first for me also. I've been to a few events with the club and there runs are all over the Philadelphia Region. And all there runs are posted well in advance on there site, take a peek and come on out. Talk to some of the organizers and maybe they can give you some tips on starting your own club.

 

The PhillyMINI.org Deck the Halls is now going to be held in Exton at the new site for Otto's MINI. It shoudl be a great time.

The people in the PhillyMINI.org are fantastic folks. There is usually only limitations on rallies when there is some sort of extenuating circumstance (like the Night Owl being well at night!), still 34 MINIs (Mine included) made it throught the back roads of Chester Country pretty well!


It's a bit of hike, but I've not heard of another MINI Club that is as active as PhillyMINI either.
