I hope you are apologizing for the attempt at a bad pun?

But it's ok, I quickly went on to a Jaguar. Other than having to have my dad fix something on it every couple weeks, it was a great car. But the gas mileage...yikes.

And I will quickly forget about any previous cars once my MINI gets here.

My wife told me the other day that she hates my Mini and that its a girls car ...........

To say the least I was shocked that she felt that way.

Maybe she should drive it then we will see what she thinks . . . . . . . .

I don't care because I think its a cool car, its fast, and I smile everytime I drive it ! ! !

My girlfriend told me the same thing. She wouldn't even ride in it for the longest time. I finally talked her into riding in it...then after about 5min she said "well, I guess it's not so bad". Now she wants to ride in it all the time.

Sometimes people just need to think outside the box a little........

When I bought my Mini, everyone said the same thing.....Then they saw her!
She's been lowered, and has 18's. With the Borla Exaust, and the black and orange racing stripes, it really gives her a mean, and fast, look and sound. Nobody says she's a girl car now. I do take a lot of people home after work, and I have to tell people they can't drive her all the time. I'm a very jealous owner. I know the mini isn't for everyone, but a lot of people don't even want to give it a chance!
But, that's a good thing!! That means there's not as many driving around, and that way you know when you see one!!

Don't matter (Male or Female)

The Mini is for a person that enjoys driving. I would have to say it is a uni-sex car.

Never thought of mini being as girl car :/

Most of girls I know don't like to drive MINI because the ride is so hard and steering is too heavy lol

My girl thinks Miatas are girl cars, but I'm trying to change her mind. If my MINI ever explodes I might want an MX-5 next.

Well I don't think it's a "girly" car and I'm a girl.
I think it's a "schick" car, it's classified as a supermini city car which very common in Europe but not here in the states, it's certainly more masculine then some Citroen, Renault & Fiat.
Although I live in NYC now, I'm from Paris originally and personally think American has very big image & sex problem. I use to be constantly told that I shouldn't be driving a Maserati. That it's a man car...blah blah.

I think you should drive what you want, someone will always find something to complain about no matter the price tag but at the end of the day if you happy then who cares?

I agree. I spent some time in Europe recently and I noticed a huge number of small city cars, especially in Paris. Everyone in Germany drives BMW and Benz, it seems. I think I saw one pickup truck and it was parked on a farm in Normandy.

How come I don't have day and night cars?

Is a MINI really a supermini in Europe? I though it was more mini. There are some really tiny cars (and roads) over there. Last time I was in Paris the 1st/2nd Gen (BMW) MINIs didn't even exist yet... so long ago

The Mini is only a girls car if you think car size is somehow related to masculinity. Which is, of course, absolute bullocks.

I'd much rather drive a Mini than a Dodge Ram Big Horn Edition. What the hell are you saying about yourself when you drive that?
