How do you reset trip meter.

How do you reset trip meter.
It always takes me 2-3 times pushing the trip button on the speedo to reset the trip meter. Do you need the computer in a certain mode to rest the trip meter? Thanks

I think you have to hold the button down when it is showing the trip miles. It works for my '05.

Pretty sure you just have to tap the stem **** that comes out of the odo. If you have nav/connected you can do it thru the center console computer too.
