new coupe and golf clubs

Any one know if the new coupe can handle a set of golf clubs? My local dealer didn't know and my previous hardtop with the rear seats down could without a problem.

Take a look here.

I think it should fit at least one set, maybe even two.

Since the coupe hasn't arrived at the dealerships a guess is the best answer you'll probably get for now, but looking at the photos above it may be possible for them to fit.

I can't fit my driver in without folding down a back seat.

Take the woods out o' the bag, and it'll fit just fine. Lay the woods at an angle.

Two sets will go in a first gen hardtop with the seats folded.

On a somewhat related note, the car itself fits nicely on some golf cart paths..... Don't ask me how I know this.

From the pics it looks like with the Coupe it's probably one set of clubs through the access door with any large, ostentatious, animal-themed head covers serving as a right arm rest.

The day after I became the proud owner of my former '05 R50 I carried three adult males and three sets of clubs in it for 45 miles one-way with the boot hatch fully closed and nothing sticking out of the sunroof. I admit that leg room that day wasn't at a premium...
