Hi all, sad to say bye. I just recently traded in my 03 mcs for an 11 vw gti . Nam was the best forum I've ever been a part of, thanks for everything to all. Happy motoring , will still wave at mc owners, lol!

Congrats on the new ride, by all accounts an awesome car! If I was going to switch brands the GTI would be a serious consideration

@ ofioliti, practicality became an issue with my mcs, and maintenance cost became pretty overwhelming, i already miss it alot.

Given the pricing is about the same and the new 011 maintence is zero, why would you switch over? The reason i am asking is that my son would love a GTI, and given you have had a Mini, you would be able to compare them perffectly. Did you look at the new Mini ?

@ yellowminiaz, lol! I cant agree more that car was phenomenal to drive, i would love a gprs someday. @ silhouette88 will do, asap, don't really know how nice mc drivers are gonna be though, lol!. @ royalpar1 you know what, being that most of my experience was with an r53, i would hate to base my opinions on that , considering the mini is 2 generations younger now, in all honesty though, on the overall the gti has been super impressive lately, and like i said practicality has been very awesome.

thanks alot bensmini, it has indeed been alot of fun doesnt seem as hardcore when it comes to handling like my r53 though, am already missing it. @ ngweibing, I would love to come back for sure, i more than likely will if i can get my hands on a gp in the near future. Happy motoring guys.
